Happiness equals thirty fingers and toes.
Wrinkly noses lightly dusted with freckles.
Bright, crinkly eyes, long curved lashes
That rest on smooth, innocent cheeks.
Gap toothed smiles, tooth fairy visits.
Mom snuggling boys on the couch,
Nestled warm, sharing a fuzzy blanket.
Lanky, growing legs wrapped in pajamas.
Loud laughter echoing throughout our home.
Every single day of the year.
But most especially, during magical Christmastime.
I like the part about the "lanky, growing legs wrapped in pajamas." I have about one more year (maybe!) before my oldest outgrows me. Whenever I see tall boys with their little Mamas I get a little pre-nostalgic!
ReplyDelete"Gap toothed smiles, tooth fairy visits." those are the best! Happy Holidays! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Me too. I agree with every word. (But only 1 boy:)
ReplyDeleteI love when PJ pants are in their final wears. It makes me glad to see my babes growing and healthy. And they look so darn cute in their little pajama floods. This was wonderful to read.
ReplyDeleteI love to hear and participate in some loud laughter!
ReplyDeleteSweet and filled with love.
ReplyDelete=)So sweet.
ReplyDeleteFor me...since I missed 6 word friday: Happiness is:
Savannah with no fevers left behind!
