An eight mile run, with humidity.
Three big boys, all potty trained.
Being married to my best friend.
Caring for my uncle, after Mom.
Getting on an airplane, despite fear.
Strapping in for this rollercoaster: Life,
Holding on, letting go, screaming along,
Eyes wide open, hands in air.
Sometimes, the things stamped DIFFICULT,
are the ones that are EASY.
All about perspective ~ I like this!
ReplyDeleteEight miles YES!

We do have an innate ability to find comfort and pleasure in things others find unimaginable. That's the beauty and grace of the human spirit!
ReplyDeleteThe upbeat tone of this piece is contagious! Nobody could read it without smiling.
ReplyDeleteNamaste..........cj
We're all strapped in to that roller coaster--surrendering to it makes life easier, I think.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Except not sure about that eight mile run with humidity. That's a tough one!
